I’m a full stack software engineer based in New York City. I love learning new technologies and tackling challenging projects. I honed my problem solving and critical thinking skills while in graduate school where I did independent organometallic chemistry research. I transitioned into software engineering through the Flatiron School. I’m looking for front-end or full stack opportunities in New York City.

Programming appealed to me for the same reason chemistry did: I love creating things with a purpose! Over time I began to see that the compounds I synthesized in the lab might only find use in the real world decades down the road, if ever. While searching for a more meaningful career path, I discovered that software engineering requires the skillset I already had: logical thinking, problem solving, resourcefulness, test driven development, and perseverance. Additionally, I knew I would be able to work on projects that would have a direct impact on people’s lives.
